The value of the blood of Christ

The blood is of very great significance in the Bible as we see from the beginning of the world till coming in of Christ.
Romans 3:23
At the age of accountability is when we understand that what we’re doing is a sin.
The tabernacle of Moses relates to sin and we see that the priest used to go in and sacrifice for the sin of the people. It was so real that the presence of God was in the place.
A tabernacle is a place where God resides.
Hebrews 9:22
Moses’ tabernacle was a figure of what was to come. God calls us to be in the real place of God. We’re the temple of God and we should be holy and righteous.
Ephesians 2:6 talks of us seating in heavenly places.
So how do we apply the blood of Christ in our everyday lives?
The blood was shed for us and we can look death, sin and the devil in the face and tell them off. No matter what comes against us, we know that we’re worthy because of the blood of Jesus.
The blood is like our passport and it gives us access.
We’re surrounded by battles daily everywhere and it is Satan instigating them daily but we’re not of this world! God is with us and we have the blood of Christ covering us!
The blood has so many aspects like healing, cleansing among other things.
The blood makes us righteous.
2 Cor 5:17 – 21
Our own righteousness is like rags so we need His righteousness. The minute we accept God we receive that righteousness.
It’s very important to remember what the blood stands for in our walk with Christ. That’s why we take communion for example; to remember what Christ did for us!
Hebrews 10:7
Let’s be conscious at all times that the blood of Jesus is covering us.
Romans 3:24-25
We’re made righteous by the blood of Christ! No matter how you feel you have sinned, God has justified us freely! Believe that the blood was shed for you!
Eph 2:6
Next time anyone or anything tries to make you feel guilty or unworthy, remind yourself that it’s by the blood, not works or your record of sin.
We’re seated in Christ in the heavenly places.
We can have joy in tough times because we have the joy of the Holy Spirit.
Sin and death have no hold of us.
John 6:53
The blood gives us life. That’s how we have the true life in Christ aside from the past life we had. Now we have an answer to whether we have a purpose or not.
As a Christian, I know my identity as a child of God. The blood has reclaimed you and you have a purpose for your life.
It’s only God who can humble us even when we don’t know how proud we are.
Be bold and say to anything that comes against you who you’re in Christ by His blood.
