Praise & Worship – Your Goodness is running after me – The Remnant – 13th September 2019

“The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him. Whatever they plot against the LORD, He will bring to an end; trouble will not come a second time.”
Nahum 1:7,9 The victory was won, once and for all, when the King Himself descended from the Throne to finish the job. He, who is exalted to the right hand of the Father, need not come down again to repeat His task. It is finished He said, and so it is. And through that finished job on the cross, we have attained our victory, once and for all. The trouble will not come a second time. His Word says so.
Everything that shows itself to hound you now are merely threats, empty lies and fear tactics. No troubles, no enemy, can ever touch us again, not after the Lord our Refuge has touched us. When the enemy attempts to plot against you, he is making the mistake of plotting against the Lord Himself. Some nights are longer and tougher than others but remember that our Lord is a Warrior, He has brought these troubles to an end. We too are called to live like Him, to bring battles to an end with the assurance of a victory already won in Him. His goodness and mercies being renewed every morning.
His Word says that He will turn the Valley of Trouble into a gateway of hope. A hope only He can bring. For the ones He cares about, those who trust Him. So bring worship worthy of a victorious Warrior King, worship to remind ourselves who our God is, to proclaim the goodness of a God who steps out in the battle before us and fights for us.
Let’s live our worship to show our God that with every breath we will sing of the goodness of our God.
