Praise & Worship – The Remnant – Lord You are Good – 17th May 2019

“I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32.27 God gave Jerusalem and all Israel into the hands of the Chaldeans as a punishment for their trespass, faithlessness and unrighteousness, and the same God also says “Just as I have brought all this great calamity on this people, so I will bring on them all the good that I have promised them.” (Jer 32:42)

In the sovereignty of our God, all things are allowed and all things are brought together for the good of those who are in Him, for correction, reconciliation, powerful testimony and a grander crescendo in the story of our lives.

Take the lesson in its stride and keep walking in Jesus, allow God to be the God of your life, let Him finish what He has started. When all the voices become one in praise, the first declaration that comes from the mouth of the people always is that our God is good, and His mercy endures forever.

May these words grace our lips as we praise, no matter what the situation.
