Praise & Worship – The Remnant – In Christ Alone – 31st May 2019

““I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”” 1 Corinthians 1:19 Mankind has spent every year of its existence gaining and amassing more and more knowledge about everything in the universe, its functioning and remains bent on cracking the code of creation. While we keep coming closer to understanding the process and synergy of creation, we fail to understand its purpose and are even more baffled by the source of all creation. While we are able to clone creatures, we are unable to resolutely create a zygote. While we alter DNA we are unable to figure out why a baby’s personality ends up like his great grandfather whom he has never even met. God will simply frustrate us in this pursuit. “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
James 1:5 But here is a God who has all creation just thought out in His beautiful mind, and put into motion by a Word, too complex to comprehend with our understanding, and yet so simple to embrace in our heart.
The ones He personally handcrafted are desperate to find the cause and effect without seeking the answer right inside of them. Hence, the foolish ones stop looking to the physical for answers as it’s too difficult to grasp, and take a look upwards. And how generously God gives to all who just ‘ask’, and without finding a single fault, He will give it you. Our God wants to be found, and He wants to share the mysteries of His creation and the purpose of our placement in this space time continuum. He wants to tell us how much He loved us and did all this just to make us comfortable. His model is perfect and will only be understood by those who seek His wisdom while He destroys every other form of wisdom that holds itself above Him. In our worship, we may not be able to answer the specific questions of the intelligent and humanly wise who enter, or of those who don’t understand, or misunderstand our God, but we can show them this Love and Wisdom that He has given the foolish and proud vessels as us, and the experience of the Holy Spirit that cannot be boxed or explained in words.
Let our worship mirror the God of all creation so they will see that all answers lie in waiting in the embrace of a Father who has not counted their faults, and will never remember them once He has written them off. Our life, soul, power, our stand and destiny and boast is in the One who was there from the beginning and waits for us until the end, in Christ alone.
