Praise & Worship for 3rd January 2020

“The Lord said to Gideon, “You have too many men. I cannot deliver Midian into their hands, or Israel would boast against me, ‘My own strength has saved me.’ Now announce to the army, ‘Anyone who trembles with fear may turn back and leave Mount Gilead.’” So twenty-two thousand men left, while ten thousand remained.” Judges 7:2-3
The Kingdom of God is not for the faint-hearted, not for the fearful. God doesn’t want the ones with the most strength and abilities to do His Work, He doesn’t want too many either. He just needs the trustworthy few, the remnant, those who are fearless and confident, not in themselves, but in the God they serve, who trust in Jesus to do the job, as they stand firm in faith. God despises the proud and has always raised up the weak to shame them, He is still continuing to do so.
The enemy is a defeated one and all he wants to do is instill fear so we do not speak and move in the power in the Name of Jesus, by which he flees in utter shame and fear. Be not mistaken, we have a crafty and wicked enemy who has been plotting to steal, kill and destroy since a long time, despite knowing that he has lost it all anyways when Christ rose up victorious. Our enemy fights dirty and pushes every limit when he fights, as he has nothing further to lose. He is all defeated anyways.
We are weak, shameful, fearful people, but God says He does not need too many people, or strong, or trained, or people proud in their abilities, He needs those who do not tremble with fear at the enemy. He will give you the grace, He will give you the power, He will give you the strategy, He will give you all the training you need, and He also goes ahead and fights for you, and assures you an undisputed victory every single time. Our God is a Champion, He is not in the habit of losing, and He will not start now.
This new year our God has given The Remnant a clear strategy with the trumpet, the empty pitcher, and the torch. So praise with a loud cry, release the Word, raise a loud war cry, and shine the light of Christ in the fire of the Spirit. The One who makes a way through every valley and mountain-top stand with us and fights for us.
Remember each other in prayers. We meet at 5:30pm onwards this Friday 3rd January 2020.
God Bless us all!
