No guilt verdict or punishment !

Romans 8:1-3 NLT

God loves us so much we should know!

Now that we’ve escaped from bondage are we living this life as He promised? Are we truly living a free life?

There’s no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. This means that there’s no guilt verdict or condemnation towards you Child of God.

We are free so we can live as slaves to righteousness. We’re free from the law of sin and death.

The written code of the law kept people in bondage. God’s standard was so high so people could know that they couldn’t be perfect before God.

The power of the life-giving spirit is upon us who have received Him.

In those days man also knew they’d die since they’re all sinners.

This new life is due to the life-giving spirit whom we received in Christ Jesus. Remember that Jesus is the Last Adam.

1 Cor 15:55

If we have the life-giving spirit, can we fail or be oppressed?

Many sermons have been preached but few have focused on Jesus being the life-giving spirit.

John 4

Jesus is the life-giving water and when He meets the Samaritan woman he reaches out to her. We need to know who gives us life. God has given us life through Jesus Christ.

We need to know and understand that God has given us this free gift of salvation from sin works. We just need to be aware of this truth. Those who drink His water have life.

There are two things to note:

1. Need to know the gift of salvation and life-giving spirit.
2. Those who have received this life ought to walk in it and that’s how we overcome.

If we still have old habits it’s because we’re Still living in the flesh.

If we walk in the Spirit we’ll overcome. You will not be the same because he gives us the power to overcome.
