1. *Every dream has a timing *
– From the time God gave you the dream to the fulfillment of the dreamt is God who decides the time
– It is not us who decides the time our dream will be fulfilled
– Many of us give up on our dream because it hasn’t happened in our timeframe, but we need to understand the timing is not dictated by us, but is planned by the Author of the dream
– The timing is given by God because He knows the best time to fulfill the dream. He wants us to wait until the promise is fulfilled

2. Every dream faces a rejection period
– When you have a dream that you hold closely to your heart, you may experience rejection from your family and society. This is part of the process
– You will face rejection and painful days, but god will bring through the rejection to the other side
– Joseph’s brother’s couldn’t recognize him, but the Egyptians could
– The time has come. The time is now.

3. Every dream faces tribulation
– If God’s dreams were so easy, they wouldn’t be able to bring Him glory. It wouldn’t be the glorious
– The greater the dream the bigger the tribulation
– Show integrity and patience
– My day will come. My God is faithful. He will not allow me to go down, my tribulation will be taken
– My tribulation is for a short time, my dream will be fulfilled for a long time
– The Lord will lift you up with the dream He gives you

4. Every dream has a testing time
– You will be tested in your flesh before you arrive at your destination
– God wants you to kill your flesh along he journey. The part of you which is not dying keeps you away your dream from your life
– We are a generation that is highly favored by God. The Holy Spirit is ready to help you. God knows your weakness and He is ready to help you

– Your testing period is getting over. God will bring you put as pure as gold. The testing period is a refining period
– I am heading to my promise. I am heading to my palace. I am heading to my destiny. No plans of potipher’s wife, no plans of physical fights, no plans of emotional suffering will hold me back.
5. Every dream must have humility
– Potipher’s wife saw the grace of God
in Joseph
The jailer saw the favor of God in
Joseph
Pharaoh saw the Spirit of God in Joseph
– If God doesn’t take you through this process, you will not be able to get to the dream
– Joseph did not care for the position he was getting, instead he wanted to work for God’s glory. Be faithful
– Don’t try to position yourself, you will fail if you do so. Wait for God to position you

6. Every dream must have forgiveness
– You can’t be blessed by God and pronounce curses on others
– Joseph could show forgiveness as he realized that:
He had experienced the unconditional love of God
God gave him the understanding that he was in the perfect will of God
– I am called to be forgiving. If I love as Christ has loved, I will forgive
– Forgiveness breaks a cycle of retaliation and leads to reconciliation
– Colossians 3:13

– Luke 17:3-4
– Joseph exercised forgiveness by knowing and understanding the forgiveness that God had lavished upon him
– Forgiveness comes when we exercise the unconditional love of God.
You may have forgotten your dream, but the one who gave it never forgets it
