“But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.” Jude 20-21 No matter what the world says, no matter what counsel and advise the world offers, it maybe the pricey principles of the gurus and experts of the time, but remember who you are Child of God – do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life (1 Cor 6:3). Seek your wisdom from the Giver of all wisdom. Don’t let things of this world cloud our steps to the destiny of our lives – Jesus. For the Word says, to build yourself up in faith, and pray in the Spirit.

The one thing we can do towards receiving God’s direction in our lives is to keep ourselves in God’s Love. This takes effort to do. When we are standing on sinking sands in life, run towards the Rock, run towards the arms of the Father – keep yourselves in God’s Love. The wise verse also suggests to keep yourselves in God’s Love, while we wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus to bring us to the various decisions that lead us to eternity with Him. While mercy is bestowed upon us, we keep ourselves tucked inside the Father’s Arms.

This is the effort we take, to run back into Him every time, all the time. As we lift up our worship, remember to keep yourselves in the Love of our God.

Let His people see this and be drawn towards this electric contagious Love, that will build them up in faith and in the Spirit, and draw us all closer and closer to an eternity with Jesus Christ.
