Praise & Worship for 12th December 2019

“And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”  2 Corinthians 12:9
When He considers us ready to get to the next spiritual level, our God allows us to face some fights on our own, as He allowed Apostle Paul, particularly at the time of the verse above. When God determines the timing of a new lesson, He some times even permits messengers of Satan to play ‘the thorn in your flesh’, all because He knows the folly of our hearts to potentially puff up from all the abundance of revelations He plans to give unto us.
In various stages of our faith walk, we can relate to an infant as it begins to walk. They initially need some hand holding, and then you have to let them glide, cruise, fall a couple of times, as they strengthen up their limbs, until they finally start walking independently. As is the case with us, when we start moving to the next level of the faith walk, our God needs to stop hand holding us and let us strengthen up for the next level of revelations, prophesies, assignments and gifts He is to bestow upon us. It is in His interest that we be good custodians in all things.
He stops hand holding to build us up, but never has He ever left our side or stopped sending contingents of angels for our needs. He allows us to strengthen up but never to puff up. He wouldn’t lose us to the perversity of our flesh. And He gives us grace. And more and more of it, as we need it, freely, fully, sufficiently, to ensure we come out of our weakness and put on His strength and keep on walking ahead.
His strength is made perfect in our weakness and nothingness. We find joy in this very strength. Therefore, boast of your weakness, don’t try to hide it in your insecurity and pride, but sing of it, testify of it, and let the world see our boast in our God. Our God who thinks we are enough, the oil we have is enough, the abilities we have is enough, the heart we have is more than enough.  Our oil will overflow with the power of the Spirit until there are no more jars left!
For the grace He freely showers upon us, to this wonderful God, we bring our best praise.
Remember each other in prayers . See you at 5:30pm.God Bless us all!
