Light-bearers

Open heavens give us divine experiences.

Psalms 144:5 says ” O God, bow the heavens and come down, touch the mountains and they shall smoke”.

Here Psalmist illustrates Yahweh splitting the heavens so that He can descend. Recalls God’s appearance at Mount Sinai to meet His people.

With expectant heart let us gather in His presence by laying aside all our personal agendas.

There is power in fervent prayer, earnest prayer; prayer that we will not quit till it smokes rains and gives us open heavens experiences.

” You are a light bearer in the place that God has positioned you”

Mathew 5:14 Jesus said, ” you are the light of the world”. Jesus meant just that!!

He entrusted this ministry of reconciliation in our hands.

Jesus wants us to shine forth first into the dark world, second onto the lives of other Christians, and third into our homes.

” We are created to be as BRIGHT AS a city on a mountain, glowing in the night for all to see”

The important message is that – Jesus gave up His divine privileges and became like one of us so that we could empty ourselves and become a light bearer”.

Tonight we make this bold declaration. Yes ” I am the light of this city”. Not on my own doing but because Christ is abiding in me. Ref John 1:4-5NLT

Such light cannot be hidden, ( the whole world will see us). All the surrounding darkness will only enhance its shinning.

Those who are against us will only enhance our brightness and glory!!

Jesus said, ” Don’t hide your light under a basket” instead put it on a stand and let it shine for ALL to see” Hallelujah!!

A believer who is shinning with the light of Christ lives a godly life according to the will and purpose of God. ( ref 1 Peter 2:9)

Common let us offer our praise to the Lord for what He has given us. He has given us the light of Christ

Rejoice in your portion. It is He who anointed your head with oil.

So let us be a light bearer for Christ as you are called into His ministry of reconciliation.
