The Everlasting (Eternal) God an Everlasting remembrance – Part 2

The Everlasting (Eternal) God an Everlasting remembrance (Part 2)
Matthew 26:26-28
‘This is the institution of the Lord’s Supper and it started from Exodus 12:12-14. Here also Jesus does use the same elements; the lamb, the blood and the actual “passing over”.
The blood was to be a sign to those who are God’s people so plagues shall not smite then and the Lord shall pass over them: while he would pass through the wicked people and execute judgement against the gods of Egypt.
Also, we see Paul say He received this from the Lord! He wasn’t taught by man but received this directly from God!
Jesus came down only to fulfil God’s purpose and plan: When we partake of his communion we remember His life, death, burial and resurrection. We also remember that the defeated enemy has no power over us.
Romans 8:7-9
It says even the future wrath shall not affect us: whether it’s the judgement or the tribulation.
Hebrews 10:5-10 shows this willingness of Jesus to die for our sins!
Christ came to fulfil the law and came as a Passover lamb. In the Old Testament, whoever sinned had to pay for it and now Jesus has already paid the price for our sin hence anyone who is in Christ is free from all their past, guilt, sin and failures.
Jesus obtained eternal redemption by going to the heavens just like the earthly priest goes into the holiest place to atone for the sins of the people.
Christ reconciled our relationship back to God and we are now back to where we were meant to be. We now have the glory of God that Adam once had before the fall. We are the special priesthood, sinless, guiltless if we’ve truly understood who we are in Christ and are living a pure life too.
2 Cor 3:16-18
We are being transformed daily since God is in control. Every time we take part in the supper, let’s remember that we’re guiltless and are delivered from the power of the law because Jesus fulfilled it: he took our place of the cross and died in our place and delivered us from the power of Satan.
God intended us to live with Him forever!
Jesus died and delivered unto us the promise hence now we’re just living in hope for His second coming.
Talking about His second coming?
If it shall be a personal, glorious, physical and blessed hope of manifestation. God will come back for His church in glory!
Before the second coming, the rapture resurrection shall take place where those who died in Christ, as well as saints who will be alive, shall rise and be caught up with Him in heaven.
Points about right living!
Ephesians 4:18-22
God saved us to live a holy life for him: we are not just imagining we’re saved once and for all we’ll never be set apart from God even if we’re lukewarm. The answer is that once we’ve accepted Jesus and are having this new life in us, the old man is taken away and we are to renew our minds in the word of God by the power of the Holy Spirit.
It’s a process where our lives are transformed each day to live a new life with the old man constantly being put to death and our lives shining more of God’s glory!
Lev 17:11
The life of the flesh is in the blood. This means that Jesus shed his blood on the cross hence he gave his life for us. The shedding of his blood was the atonement for our sin once and for all! So let’s live a holy life because He that called us is holy!
AMEN!
