“The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem. “Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher; “Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.””
Ecclesiastes 1:1-2 “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11

Your Grace is enough / Stir up a hunger / Come Holy Spirit, fall afresh on me ““They will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them,” says the Lord your God.” Amos 9:14-15
After a heavy rebuke for the years of sin and rebellion of the kings and their people, the Mighty Vintner, the Father in Heaven, promises hope and restoration to His people, a gathering of the remnant of His people, who took their correction and remained obedient to the rebuke of their Father, and turned their hearts away from sin.
Through His prophet Amos, God shared the promise of great hope and revival, once gathered together, that the people will rebuild and live in their cities, that God Himself will give them the choicest vines to plant and grow and even enjoy the harvested crop of fruit and their wine. God promises His children who come before Him to be cleansed and purified, to be refined and revived, who desire that they be stirred up for a hunger of a new portion of His Spirit, that He will plant them in their own land, never again to be touched, never again to be uprooted, from the promises He has given.
As we lift up our worship and love to the Father, for the Great Love that He has shown us by giving us His only Son, through Jesus, in Whom alone we have complete assurance in God’s beautiful promise of restoration and permanence of our settlement in the land that God has prepared for us. May this be our desire as we worship, that the Lord stir up a hunger in the hearts of the people for more of His Spirit to come upon us as all, we deep dive into the Year of Growth and greater knowledge of God and His grace and His Spirit in us.

“Shout for joy to Yahweh, all you lands. Serve Yahweh with gladness. Come before His presence with singing. Know that Yahweh alone is God. He made us, and we are His. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with a song of thanksgiving. Come into His courtyards with a song of praise. Give thanks to Him; praise His Name.” Psalms 100:1-4

Live Sermon by Pastor Blessen Cherian on 7-Feb-2020 at The Church of the Redeemed Remnant
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”
Ephesians 4:11-32
