Praise the Lord

“And of Zion it will be said,
“This one and that one were born in her;
And the Most High Himself shall establish her.”
The Lord will record,
When He registers the peoples:
“This one was born there.”
Both the singers and the players on instruments say,
“All my springs are in you.””

Psalms 87.5-7
We live in a world where everyone’s on a race to attain citizenship of affluent nations, and enjoy the benefits of being adopted into new and greener lands. Even if we are somehow associated with some great or important city, we love being identified with that city, and surely don’t fail to mention this in our self introductions.
In Zion, the city of God, we will certainly see the value in being regarded as her citizen, the city established by the Most High Himself. A city where the Immigration Officer is God Almighty Himself, and the citizenship and birthright is declared by the seal of His Spirit. All those who come through the passage of Jesus Christ, the only One Who is able and made all things possible, all born again, born of the Spirit of God, will be confident citizens of the city of God.
The city where God Himself, like a proud Father, will make an announcement to all, that “He was born here!” and “She was born here!”, what a precious wonderful thing for the dwellers of Zion! God of all the Universe acknowledges His people!
And how beautiful, in this city there is a River whose streams make glad, out of the people of Zion, it brings life and peace and abundance wherever it flows. God’s springs and fountains will flow out in abundance out of the dwellers of Zion, and they will make music and sing of this in the deep and abundant life and joy!
Today as we worship, know that no matter what country, family or tribe we hail from, our citizenship is of the city of God. So sing and dance and make music as life-giving waters, springs, and fountains flow out of us, and we can bring together all the remnant people of God through our worship offering. Only our God is able to do all that He has promised to do.
See you with your friends and family at 5:30pm onwards.God bless you all !

There are times when life is overwhelming, when all we have is questions. In those moments, hope can feel far away. The great thing about prayer is that it shifts our perspective toward the One who stands ready to listen. No matter what you’re facing, we’d love to pray with you!
